If you’re searching for the perfect fall wedding photography inspiration, David and Jessica’s beautiful November wedding at Eagan Community Center was a dream. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I love capturing couples who embrace the natural beauty of the season, and these two were all about the outdoors, laughter, and having the most fun-filled day.
A Venue That Embraces Nature
David and Jessica chose their venue for its natural charm and beautiful outdoor scenery. Whatever preconceptions you might have about community center wedding venues, throw them out the window because the Eagan Community Center delivers on absolutely every level. This beautiful space is actually one of my favorite venues for fall weddings.
You never know what weather you’re going to get when it comes to November in Minnesota. Which is why we were flipping out over the lingering autumn colors and crisp air on their wedding day. It was PERFECT. It created the most romantic, cozy atmosphere and allowed us to bring to life Jessica’s vision of golden hour portraits surrounded by fall colors with the scenic pond in the background.
A Love Story Built on Adventure and Laughter
From weekends under the pines to quiet mornings around a crackling campfire, these two are never happier than when they’re exploring the great outdoors and making memories together. This has become such a core part of their relationship that it only felt right for their wedding to be rooted in everything they love most: camping, nature, and travel. Every detail in their wedding decor reflected this fun and unique theme and it was so perfectly them!
David and Jessica got engaged in Duluth, one of their most treasured places, and their travels have taken them everywhere from Florida’s Universal Studios (their first trip together) to little hidden corners of Minnesota. Their wedding day was such a beautiful reflection of their goofy and adventurous spirits, their devotion to family, and their absolute adoration for their sweet pup Cedar.
Thoughtful Handmade Touches
David and Jessica incorporated several sweet, handmade details into their wedding day. With the help of Jessica’s dad, they built their own wedding arbor. They also created personalized bean bag boards, which doubled as a unique and creative guest book! David also designed a beautiful custom mug to commemorate their wedding day, which we made sure to capture along with their wedding detail shots. These sweet details added such a personal and meaningful touch to their day!
