The summer wedding season in Minnesota is always pure magic, and Alli and Grant’s August wedding at Blackberry Ridge Golf Course was no exception. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I absolutely love it when couples choose a venue that offers gorgeous natural light and a stunning atmosphere. And let me tell you, Blackberry Ridge delivered in every way. The open fields, lush greenery, and golden summer glow made for the perfect backdrop for their wedding photos!

The Sweetest Couple (And A Perfect Match)

Alli and Grant are literally two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. And they balance each other so perfectly: with her being more of the planner in the relationship while he’s more of a go-with-the-flow kind of guy. They both share a love for hunting and fishing, and just being outdoors (oh and they’re both big chocolate lovers!). Their perfect end-of-summer wedding was all about celebrating their love with all of their family and friends and tying the knot in a way that reflected both of their personalities.

The Perfect Golf Course Wedding at Blackberry Ridge

As golden hour was approaching, I was able to steal Alli and Grant away for a few couple portraits with that perfect golden, glowy and romantic look. (spoiler alert: they turned out AMAZING). As the sun was setting, the two of them were able spend a few quiet and precious moments together out on the rolling hills of the beautiful Blackberry Ridge Golf Course. This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day not just because of the breathtaking photos, but because it gives the bride and groom a chance to pause and really soak it all in. It’s always the perfect way to wrap up an unforgettable wedding day.
