Nika & Mark’s Summer Winery Wedding at Next Chapter Winery

When it comes to summer wedding photography in Minnesota, there’s something so magical about an outdoor wedding ceremony surrounded by lush greenery and warm, golden light. Nika and Mark’s June wedding at Next Chapter Winery was the perfect blend of romance, fun, and easygoing joy—just like the two of them!

From the moment I arrived at the venue, I could see why Nika and Mark chose it. The rolling vineyards, soft natural light, and peaceful atmosphere created the dreamiest backdrop for their day. As a Minnesota wedding photographer, I love when couples choose spaces that feel special to them, and Next Chapter Winery’s charm made their love story shine.

A Laid-Back Couple with a Love for the Outdoors

Nika and Mark are the kind of couple who make you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Their energy is warm, their laughter is contagious, and their love is undeniable. They describe themselves as laid-back but fun-loving—Nika’s got the planning skills, but she’s also great at rolling with the punches. And one thing they both can’t resist? Coffee ice cream.

Beyond planning their wedding, they spend their time doing what they love most—hanging out with their Golden puppy, Winston, exploring the outdoors, visiting breweries, and grilling with friends. It’s no surprise that when they envisioned their summer wedding photography, they wanted photos that captured all the greenery, open fields, and vineyard beauty.

Golden Light & Must-Have Moments

Nika had a few must-have photos that made my photographer heart so happy! We planned for a stunning golden hour session to soak in the soft, glowing light of a June evening. She also wanted those classic ring exchange close-ups, fun veil shots, and a celebratory dip kiss down the aisle—and let me tell you, they nailed it!

Of course, we made time for gorgeous bridal portraits, a heartfelt first look, and lively bridal party photos by the iconic white fence lined with trees.

Dancing the Night Away

If there’s one thing Nika was most excited about (besides becoming a wife!), it was the dancing—and their reception did not disappoint. The energy, the laughter, and the love on that dance floor made for some of the best candid moments of the night.
